After being released by Chinese club Henan Jianye last February 2018, Filipino and The Azkals’ striker Javier Patino returns to his previous Thai club Buriram United.
The information was released via Buriram United’s official Facebook account
Javier Patino’s first spell with “The Thunder Castles”was in 2013-2015 which turned out to be a fruitful one as he helped the club win the Premier League twice (2013, 2014), The 2013 Thai League Cup, 2013 FA Cup and the Kor Cup in 2014.
With Javier already out of contract before returning to his previous club, Buriram United re-acquires the Filipino striker’s services without paying for a transfer fee which is a good deal after selling him to Henan Jianye in 2015 at a figure of around USD 1.2 million.
