Vietnamese football boom: Dynamo Zagreb latest club to show interest

In a show of intent to further boost their squad, Davao Aguilas posted via social media their signings for mid-July transfer window.

With Wesley Dos Santos and recently, Patrick Deyto, confirming their joining with Davao Aguilas, an additional four more players add to the depth of an already loaded Jefferson Cheng-bankrolled squad.

Here are the rest of the signings:

Diego Alves (Brazil) – Forward
Marco Casambre (Philippines) – Defender
Julian Clarino (Philippines) – Defender
Ray Joseph Joyel (Philippines) – Goal-keeper

Diego Alves, hailing from Itabira in Minas Gerais, Brazil was previously affiliated with Thai League 2 club Kasetsart FC.

Marco Casambre was previously with Global and has featured with the Azkals as one of the youngest sensations handed a cap by former coach Thomas Dooley.

Julian Clarino was a standout and captain for the UP Fighting Maroons’ just concluded “invincible” run to the UAAP Season 80 football title and also a part of the Philippine National Team for the 2017 SEA Games.

Lastly Ray Joyel is FEU Tamaraws’ first choice keeper with notable stints with the Philippine National Team particularly in the 2017 SEA Games.
