Feyenoord sign AZ full-back Haps

Mourinho fumes at VAR noise and calls for consistency

Feyenoord have added AZ Alkmaar’s Ridgeciano Haps to their defence while sending Marko Vejinovic in the opposite direction as part of the agreement.

The 24-year-old left-back joins the defending Eredivisie champions to replace Terence Kongolo, who was snapped up by Ligue 1 champions Monaco.

As part of the transfer, Feyenoord agreed to send midfielder Vejinovic out on loan to AZ. The 27-year-old struggled to maintain a spot in manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side last season.

Haps is a product of the AZ Alkmaar youth system, starting out in their U19 side in 2012 before being sent out on loan to Go Ahead Eagles two years later.
