Newcastle United have announced the departure of talented young Slovakian defender Lubomir Satka.
The 21-year-old, who made just one appearance for the first team after progressing through the youth ranks, joined the club in 2012 from MFK Dubnica.
He spent some time on loan at York City as well as DAC Dunajska Streda, and has now agreed join the Slovakian club on a permanent basis on a three year deal, with his current contract set to expire at the end of June.
Part of Satka's biography on the Newcastle site said: "Slovakian under-21 international Lubo joined Newcastle United from Dubnica in his homeland in 2012, and quickly made his presence felt.
"He was part of United’s tournament-winning Citibank Soccer Sevens squad in Hong Kong shortly after his arrival at the Club.
"A cultured centre half, Lubo has been a regular part of the Club’s under-21 set-up since making his debut against Tottenham Hotspur at the start of the 2012-13 season, and he made his senior Magpies debut as a substitute in an FA Cup tie at Leicester City in January 2015."
