Hayden wants to become an ‘established’ EPL player

Pep Guardiola has some serious dance moves

Newcastle United defensive midfielder Isaac Hayden is eager to become a consistent Premier League performer after helping the Magpies earn promotion.

The 22-year-old played a significant role in manager Rafael Benitez's sid's Championship winning season that earned them automatic promotion to the top flight for next term.

Hayden moved to Newcastle from Arsenal in July last year. He never featured in the Premier League for the Gunners, and is looking forward to the experience at his new home.

“It will be good this time to get a proper opportunity, and hopefully give myself the best chance to be an established Premier League player. But I’m just looking forward to it – I’m taking it day by day, enjoying the experience and just trying to learn as much as I can, improve in training and then we’ll see what happens this season," he told the club's official website.

“It’s a fresh slate for everybody. Nobody is going to be talking about what happened last season going into this one – it’s a fresh slate for everybody, everyone gets a fresh opportunity to show what they can do.

“It’s just up to you, in pre-season, to show that you’re willing to put the work in and perform when you get the opportunity to play, to show the manager and the staff that you want to be an integral part of the team going forward in the Premier League.”
