Barcelona and Real Madrid are set to go head to head for Eintracht Frankfurt’s Luka Jovic and if the reports are to be believed, the Catalan giants are set to be handed a major blow!
Jovic has set the Bundesliga on fire this season, scoring 16 goals and assisting another five. The 21-year-old’s performances have understandably forced the European giants to take notice and quite a few of them are interested in completing his signature.
There were reports doing the rounds that Barcelona are targetting the Bosnia and Herzegovina international to replace Luis Suarez. However, Marca now report that the striker ahs been offered to Real Madrid.
Los Blancos haven’t been able to replace the goals scored by Cristiano Ronaldo and are set for a major overhaul in the summer. And with Barcelona and Manchester City in for Jovic as well, we could be in for an enthraling summer transfer saga in a couple of months’ time.
FOX Sports Probability Rating: 3/5 – Given the financial muscle of Madrid, it wouldn’t be a surprise if they manage to sign Jovic from under Barcelona’s nose. Nevertheless, we are going to hear a lot about this transfer saga in the coming days!
