Courtois: Kane is England’s danger man

Infantino thanks Russia for hosting ‘best World Cup ever’

Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois believes Harry Kane will be England’s biggest weapon when the two nations meet in Group G at the 2018 World Cup.

Courtois and Kane are used to facing each other in the Premier League, where they play for rival London clubs Chelsea and Tottenham.

The Blues gloveman knows all too well how dangerous the Spurs striker can be after scoring 30 goals in 37 Premier League games this past season. Kane has also bagged 13 goals in 24 international appearances since making his debut for the Three Lions in 2015.

“England have a team with a lot of individual talent, you’ll have to watch out for several players,” Courtois said.

‘But the one who scores almost 30 goals every year is Harry Kane. He is the most dangerous.”

Belgium will clash with England in their final group game on June 28 at Kaliningrad Stadium.
