Haru Nomura maintained her three-shot lead at the Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic to close in on victory ahead of the final round of action.
Having only dropped one shot in both the first and second round, Nomura carded bogies on the fifth and 12th in San Francisco, but made redeemed herself with three birdies elsewhere to end the day on 71, 10-under-par overall.
Korean Na Yeon Choi was left to rue her own inconsistency once more, matching the leader’s score for the second-consecutive round despite making more birdies, which means she remains three shots back.
Lee-Anne Pace, meanwhile, moved firmly into contention ahead of the final day, equalling her round of 69 from Saturday to move tied second with Choi.
After dropping two shots over the first five holes, the South African then hit four birdies over the next 13, and is beginning to appear the form player going into the fourth round.
World number seven Brooke Henderson also caught the eye, ending the day five under overall after failing to drop a single stroke.
