MLB Review: Mets stun Marlins

Yoenis Cespedes’ two-run double in the eighth inning capped the comeback.

Kris Bryant, Wilson Contreras and Addison Russell went deep to help the Chicago Cubs to a 10-4 victory over the Cincinnati Reds.

Odubel Herrera and Maikel Franco both slugged two-run homers to lead the Philadelphia Phillies to an 8-2 win over the Atlanta Braves.

Buster Posey hit a solo home run and Angel Pagan a two-run homer in the San Francisco Giants’ 3-1 win over the Colorado Rockies.

Gregory Polanco belted a pair of home runs to guide the Pittsburgh Pirates to a 4-2 win over the St Louis Cardinals, while the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Kansas City Royals 6-2.

George Springer scored both Houston Astros runs in the 2-1 win over the Seattle Mariners and Coco Crisp’s two-run single gave the Oakland Athletics a 3-1 victory over the Minnesota Twins.

Tim Anderson and Dioner Navarro slugged two-run homers in the Chicago White Sox’s 8-2 win over the New York Yankees and Logan Morrison drove in two runs, including a solo homer, as the Tampa Bay Rays beat the Los Angeles Angels 4-2.

Brock Holt, Dustin Pedroia, Travis Shaw and Mookie Betts went deep in the Boston Red Sox’s 12-5 win over the Texas Rangers and the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Washington Nationals 1-0.

Justin Turner’s sacrifice fly that enabled Corey Seager to score earned the Los Angeles Dodgers a 7-5 win over the Baltimore Orioles and Derek Norris drove in three runs in the San Diego Padres’ 8-4 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks.

And in the final game of the evening, the Cleveland Indians beat the Detroit Tigers 5-3.
