It’s not often that drivers have a day off in the middle of a race weekend, but with Free Practice 1 and Free Practice 2 ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix taking place on Thursday, some members of the grid used Friday’s off day to trade the track for the catwalk.
This year was the tenth anniversary of the Amber Lounge fashion show, a charity event that takes place on the Friday evening before the Monaco GP at Le Meridien Beach Plaza Hotel. Drivers including Rio Haryanto, Daniel Ricciardo, Felipe Nasr, Marcus Ericsson, Jolyon Palmer, and Pascal Wehrlein swapped their race gear for suits made by British menswear label Apsley Tailors.
And it would seem the drivers certainly had a good time of it…
