Agatha Wong added another feather to her cap as she bested opponents from Vietnam and Brunei in the women’s taolu taijijian in the wushu competitions of the 30th Southeast Asian Games on Tuesday at World Trade Center in Pasay City.
Wong received a 9.65 score with her performance, enough to keep her opponents at bay for good. It is an act of sweet revenge for the Filipina since she only won the silver medal back in the 2017 SEA Games edition in Malaysia.
This is Wong’s second gold medal in the Philippine SEA Games as she won in the women’s taijiquan event two days ago.
Thi Minh Huyen Tran from Vietnam and Basma Lachkar completed the podium finishers with their performance, scoring 9.63 and 9.62, respectively, for silver and bronze.
