Svetlana Kuznetsova and Garbine Muguruza advanced to the Round of 16 of the 2017 Wimbledon Championships following their wins on Saturday.
Seventh seed Kuznetsova eased past Polona Hercog in just 63 minutes on the grass courts of the All England Club, winning 6-4, 6-0.
There was little to chose between the two in terms of winners, Hercog leading that stat 15-13, but Kuznetsova was better in the big moments, winning four out of six breakpoints.
Kuznetsova broke late in the opening set to take the lead before starting her 25 minute blitz of the second set, where she broke Hercog three times on her way to a routine win.
Meanwhile, former French Open winner Muguruza would fire 18 winners in her 6-2, 6-2 win over world number 63 Sorana Cirstea.
The 14th seed closed out the opening set after two breaks and Cirstea put up a fight in the second set, saving no less than eight break points, but would eventually succumb to the lanky Spaniard.
