Peng climbs in rankings after China victory

China's Peng Shuai has climbed nine places in the WTA rankings published on Monday after winning the Jiangxi Open on Sunday.

The 31-year-old Peng is now ranked in 23rd place, just behind Timea Bacsinszky of Switzerland and American Madison Keys, after she defeated Japan’s Nao Hibino in straight sets in Nanchang.

Czech Katerina Siniakova was the biggest mover, climbing 17 places to 39th after beating Denmark's Caroline Wozniacki to win the Swedish Open on Sunday.

There has been no change in the top 20 with Czech Karolina Pliskova still comfortably the top ranked player.
