Schalke 04 boss Andre Breitenreiter was happy to take a point from his side's 1-1 Europa League draw against Sparta Prague on Thursday evening.
Johannes Geis netted from the spot to earn the Bundesliga side a draw after David Lafata had put Sparta ahead after just six minutes.
The Konigsblauen remain top of Group K, two points ahead of their midweek opponents, after four games and Breitenreiter had no complaints after the game.
"We started the game well and dominated in the opening minutes, the out of nothing, we conceded the first goal of the game," he told reporters.
"We looked to be controlling the wings an centre of midfield, but we were too passive, and they managed to get the goal.
"After that we came back it into it, showed character and scored the equaliser. In the second half it was very balanced.
"We are still top of the group and have taken a step towards qualifying. We are happy to take the point today."
