Full Report

There was no point throughout the match where it seemed Qabala might be able to emerge with something and after just the opening 20 minutes Dortmund had already tested the visitors keeper seven times.

In the 28th minute, the hosts got the breakthrough through an accurate shot by Reus from the edge of the area to find the bottom left corner and put Dortmund 1-0 up.

Shortly before half time it was none other than Aubameyang who doubled their lead. The in-form striker produced a piece of individual brilliance before smashing the ball past the helpless goalkeeper.

The second half carried on much the same way as the first and Gonzalo added the third goal in the 67th minute, rising highest at the corner to plant a neat header into the bottom right corner of the goal.

Piszczek added the icing on the cake just two minutes later as Mkhitaryan was played in beautifully by Lukasz Piszczek and drilled a shot in off the crossbar to secure three points and extend Dortmund's lead at the top of Group C.
