According to reports, Jarno Trulli is set to replace Salvador Duran for this week's Formula E race in Malaysia, the Putrajaya ePrix.
Motorsport.com reports that the Trulli squad is parting ways the Mexican driver, and that Trulli himself will step in behind the wheel this weekend alongside team-mate Vitantonio Liuzzi.
The news is expected to be officially confirmed tomorrow.
Trulli have had a troubled start to the season, completing only a few laps in pre-season testing and failing to make the grid at the Formula E opener in Beijing.
The outfit are struggling to cope with the challenges posed by the new powertrain, though it has so far resisted reverting to last season's technology.
Duran was previously critical of the "blind faith" the team was placing in the technology.
