Bayliss: Spinners must learn from experience

Marquez suffers big crash in MotoGP Australian GP FP1

England coach Trevor Bayliss admits that he was frustrated by the performance of his side's three spinners in the third and final Test against Pakistan, which the Asian team won by 127 runs to win the series two-nil.

The Three Lions, needing to win the Test in Sharjah to level the series, added Samit Patel to the starting team in addition to Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid.

The tourists' slow bowlers had little impact on the match however and were completely outshone by their opponents spinners on a turning track.

Bayliss told Sky Sports: "It was probably the most disappointing aspect of the series. We had high hopes for the three spinners we've got.

"I think they will probably be a bit disappointed with the consistency of their length of deliveries. Against this opposition, you just can't do it. Now it is about how they learn from the experience."

England will now take on Pakistan in four ODIs with the first match in Abu Dhabi on 11 November.
