Smith suffers knee injury

Marquez suffers big crash in MotoGP Australian GP FP1

Cleveland Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith lasted less than five minutes of Monday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers after sustaining a knee contusion.

Smith was injured in the first quarter and it was later reported that he would not be returning.

It is unclear how serious Smith's injury is, but according to CBS Sports the 30-year-old could be back in action against his former team, the New York Knicks, on Wednesday.

Smith was a star player for the Cavaliers last season as he averaged 12.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.4 steals in the 46 games.
