Watford have confirmed the signing of versatile forward Nordin Amrabat in a £6.1 million deal from Spanish La Liga outfit Malaga.
The 28-year-old is set to join his new teammates following their clash against Swansea at Liberty Stadium on Monday evening.
Amrabat will be eligible to make his debut against Newcastle on Saturday and Hornets head coach Quique Sanchez Flores was excited about the acquisition.
“He has the qualities of the players we like,” he told the club’s official website.
“He can play at Number 10; he holds the ball, he can turn quickly with the strength of a striker and escape the defensive line.
“He can also play as a winger because he has that pace and velocity – the power that adds to the options of a team.”
