Neymar has moved to reassure Barcelona fans over his immediate future, insisting he has “years” remaining at the club.
Speculation has surrounded the Brazilian’s future, with Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain both reported to hold a serious interest in prising him from the La Liga giants.
However, he has called for calm, saying he is happy at the club and his only real focus right now is on helping deliver the treble.
“There is debate with all, the renewal and everything,” he told BeIn Sports. “I am very happy in Barcelona, I have almost everything.
“I have happiness and health and everything to play. It is difficult to get out of here because I found a great city, a great club, some players from another planet and for me it’s difficult, but we have to see everything.
“These are things that it is difficult to decide but we must be calm because I still have years at the club.
“[I would tell] Barcelona fans to stay calm because I am still at the club and we have many games to win the treble, that is what we seek and work all day for Barca [to be] the best and the greatest.”
One possible future destination may be Manchester City – if they can entice Pep Guardiola to the club.
Guardiola is widely expected to move to the Premier League this summer with City hot favourites to get him, and Neymar has revealed a desire to work with him.
“Guardiola is a guy that I really admire and who I would love to work with,” he added.
“It’s tough to say if I want to play in other countries. Nobody knows tomorrow, but I’m very happy where I am right now, at Barcelona.”
Neymar, who joined Barcelona in 2013, has two-and-a-half years left on his current deal.
