Valencia manager Gary Neville has thanks the club's fans for their patience after reaching the Copa del Rey semi-finals on Thursday evening.
Neville's side won the two-legged tie against Las Palmas 2-1 on aggregate following last night's 1-0 victory at Estadio de Gran Canaria on Thursday night, with Rodrigo scoring the only goal of the game.
"I'm delighted with the result, delighted with the clean sheet, but I thought we made it damn hard for ourselves," Neville said after the game. "I think we like to make the Valencia fans suffer a bit, but I'm delighted for the fans.
"They deserve a semi-final. They have been patient with me and the players for the past four or five weeks and we need to give them joy."
Neville is still searching for his first La Liga victory, with second-from-bottom Sporting Gijon visiting the Mestalla on Sunday.
