Leicester City’s midfield enforcer, N’Golo Kante, admits the Foxes will have to work as an organised unit to nullify the threat of Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil on Sunday.
Kante has been one of the league leaders’ star performers this season, but can expect a stern test of his credentials when the Foxes lock horns with the Gunners in what could prove to be a crucial match in the title race.
Ozil played a starring role as Arsenal ended Leicester’s unbeaten start to the season, with the Londoners recording a 5-2 victory at the King Power Stadium on 26 September.
However, Kante has revealed that Leicester have a plan in place to keep the Germany international under wraps.
“For me, he’s a very good player,” Kante told Foxes Player. “I played against him in the first game (when Arsenal won 5-2 at the King Power Stadium in September) and I saw then that he was a very good player.
“But we are a team against Arsenal and it’s the whole team – not just Ozil.
“The way we stop Mesut Ozil is as a team. He’s a good player but only as a team can we stop him.
“I think it’s an important game for us and for them (Arsenal). I hope it will be a good game but the pressure is on both teams I think.
“For us it’s always the same. We try to give our best and if we can win, we try to win and that’s our goal.”
