Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc has questioned his team's efficiency of late despite the fact they were crowned Ligue 1 champions last week.
Les Parisiens suffered their first league loss at home in 35 games when they fell to a 2-0 defeat to Monaco on Sunday and Blanc conceded his charges lacked took their eye off the ball, so to speak, during the match.
He conceded such things happen in football, especially when you have already reached your target for the season in a specific competition, making it difficult to maintain the same level of focus.
"We've been a little less efficient than usual. That kind of things happen," the Frenchman said after the match. "Yet, we had offensive players in our 11 with three strikers and Di Maria in the midfield. We couldn't have done more offensively speaking.
"That was a special game because it happened after the one that settled the trophy, after our goal in Champions League has been reached and a day before that all the players leave to join their national teams.
"All over the world playing important games and for some to qualify for the next World Cup in 2018. It was dangerous game. Those games before the international break are very dangerous."
