China’s Lin Dan and Li Xuerui won the men’s and women’s singles titles at badminton’s Bonny China Masters on Sunday in Jiangsu.
Second-seeded Lin needed 65 minutes to beat world number one and countryman Chen Long 21-17, 23-21 in the men’s final to give Lin a 7-2 lead in their career head-to-heads.

In the women’s singles final, top seed Li was pushed to three games by fifth seed and countryman Sun Yu before winning 21-16, 19-21, 21-6 in a match lasting 63 minutes.
In the mixed doubles in an all-China final, top seeds Xu Chen and Ma Jin defeated seventh seeds Zheng Siwei and Qingchen 21-17, 21-15.
In another all-China affair in the women’s doubles final, top seeds Luo Ying and Luo Yu needed 85 minutes to get past unseeded Chen Qingchen and Jia Yifan 16-21, 21-15, 21-18.
The men’s doubles final was a Korea Republic foursome clash when top seeds Lee Yong Dae and Yoo Yeon Seong defeated third seeds Kim Gi Jung and Kim Sa Rang 21-17, 21-14.
