Salleh: I want to retire from football

‘We played well under Frank Lampard’ says Azpilicueta

Just under two weeks after resigning as Malaysia head coach, Dollah Salleh has revealed that he has no interest in coaching again.

Salleh stepped down as the national team's coach after they were thrashed 10-0 by the United Arab Emirates on September 4, which was the worst loss in the country's history.

The 51-year-old, who has been replaced by Ong Kim Swee on an interim basis, is now set to retire from football completely in order to spend more time with his family.

"Sorry, I don’t want to think or talk about football anymore. No more questions," he told Utusan. "It’s true. I want a pension and I want to retire from football."
