McManaman dive annoys Pulis

Valverde faces up to the reality of Copa del Rey final defeat at the hands of Valencia

West Brom manager Tony Pulis was unhappy after video evidence proved winger Callum McManaman dived in the penalty area during their 0-0 draw against Southampton.

The former Stoke boss praised the referee and his assistant in his post-match interview for not awarding a penalty, and also highlighted the fact he's not a fan of the 24-year-old winger's antics.

"I've looked at it and I think Callum's feet actually go up from under him and I don't think the player has touched him," Pulis said.

"I'll be having a chat with Callum on Monday. I don't like to see that. The referee and the linesman made a fantastic decision and they deserve a lot of credit."

McManaman joined West Bromwich Albion for £4.75 million in January from Wigan Athletic where he scored 17 goals in 105 appearances for the Latics.
