Olympique de Marseille head coach Michel was pleased with every aspect of his team's 4-1 win over Bastia at Stade Velodrome on Sunday.
Goals from Benjamin Mendy and Michy Batshuayi either side of Romain Alessandrini's brace secured the points, with Brandao scoring a late consolation for the visitors.
"What did I like? Everything," Michel said. "The performance my lads turned in made me proud. When I see my players play like that, I thank them.
"I think my team has the quality to keep playing at this very high level. Bastia may not have lived up to our expectations but we still had a strong match.
"In our previous match (a 2-0 loss to Guingamp) we played the better football but didn't control the match. Tonight we controlled matters."
The result moves OM up to 11th in the Ligue 1 standings ahead of their Europa League clash with Dutch side FC Groningen in the Netherlands on Thursday.
"There's plenty of competition in the squad," Michel added. "In our match against Groningen I will make four or five changes."
