Borussia MG director of sport Max Eberl has backed under-fire coach Lucien Favre to steer the Bundesliga club back to winning ways.
The Foals surprised many last season when they finished the Bundesliga campaign in third place, securing a place in this season's Champions League in the process.
However, they have been unable to pick up where they left off, with Favre's men recording three consecutive defeats at the start of the current campaign. In those three games, Borussia MG has scored two and conceded eight, giving their loyal support cause for concern.
However, Eberl is confident the man at the manager's helm will be able to plot a revival in their fortunes.
When asked whether he felt Favre was still the right man for the job, Eberl told Bild: "He's absolutely indispensable.
"I'm not wasting any thoughts on something like that."
Borussia MG will have the perfect opportunity to end their losing streak when they welcome Hamburger SV to Stadion in Borussia-Park on Friday evening.
Hamburg currently occupies 13th place in the Bundesliga standings, following one win and two defeats, while Favre's men languish at the foot of the table with no points to their name as of yet.
