Justin Rose has revealed that he is holding himself to very high standards ahead of the final two FedEx Cup events.
The Englishman is currently in 13th position on the FedEx Cup rankings with two events left. Due to the massive amounts of points available, the race for one of the biggest payouts in world golf is still wide open.
With one victory and seven top ten finishes in just 16 starts, Rose certainly has the consistency to challenge at the BMW Championship, which tees off at Conway Farms Golf Club on September 17.
"As a better player you should expect more," said the world number eight.
"You should expect to play well every single time you go out there. I'm very demanding of myself. I believe I can hit any ball to a yard. If I give myself the right inputs, if I judge the wind correctly and have everything set up, I feel that I can hit a good shot.
"But I want to see it hit the wind though. I don’t want to see it dip higher or lower. I don't want to see the spin rate knuckling or rising into the breeze. If I put the right feel on it from impact then I expect to see the ball do what I need to see it do."
