Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has been named the Premier League Manager of the Month for August, while new Swansea City signing Andre Ayew scooped the Player of the Month award.
Pellegrini and the Citizens have hit the ground running this season, winning all of their opening four league matches, scoring 10 goals in the process and conceding none.
That form has unsurprisingly left City top of the standings, while earning the Chilean tactician the first monthly gong of the campaign.
The Manchester giants will now be looking to make it five wins on the trot when they travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Ghana international Ayew has been singled out for the playing honour after bagging three goals in his first four games for the Swans, who find themselves in fourth place at this early stage of the campaign.
The forward will be looking to maintain that form on Saturday when Swansea head to Vicarage Road to take on newly-promoted Watford, who are yet to win a league match this term, having draw three and lost one to sit just outside the relegation zone.
