Zimbabwe step up preparations to host India

Zimbabwe will step up their preparation for the incoming limited-overs tour by India by playing three practice games at the Harare Sports Club.

The Zimbabwe team have not played a match since 12 March when they lost to Afghanistan to be knocked out of the World T20 in India.

The players will be put into two sides – one under head coach Dav Whatmore and the other under bowling coach Makhaya Ntini – for the matches that will be played on Friday, Monday and Wednesday.

Zimbabwe will host India from the 8th to the 23rd of June, for a tour that will consist of three ODIs and three Twenty20 International matches.

The first ODI match is on the 11th, the second on the 13th and the third on the 15th. The Twenty20 International matches are on the 18th, 20th and 22nd.
