Ben Arfa denies Barca rumours

Nice winger Hatem Ben Arfa has denied claims he has signed for Barcelona, admitting he could remain at the French club.

The former Newcastle United and Hull City man endured a difficult five-year spell in England from 2010 to 2015, though he always managed to show glimpses of his ability.

Since his return to France in the summer, the 29-year-old has been back to his dazzling best and is expected to feature in France's 23-man squad for Euro 2016.

The former Marseille star's 17 goals this season have also seen him linked with a move to Barcelona but Ben Arfa was keen to set the record straight.

"I have not signed for Barcelona," he told Eurosport. "There is a lot of noise, but I would prefer not to talk about my future.

"The most important thing is the end of the season. Whether or not we qualify for the Champions League, my future is not decided.

"It is still possible that I stay in Nice, I do not know where I will be next year."
