Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris insists he remains happy at White Hart Lane, despite speculation that he was lined up for a move to Manchester United.
The Red Devils were expected to sell David De Gea during the transfer window, with the Frenchman touted as their ideal replacement.
However, neither move materialised and, while hinting he would have been open to such a move, Lloris insists he is happy to be at Spurs.
"A lot of things were said and written," he said at a news conference. "There could have been a development there but the desired movement didn't happen.
"I have a lot of affection for Tottenham. I feel respected, I have a very good relationship with the staff and I'm ready to play the best season possible."
