Sinisa Mihajlovic has questioned Mario Balotelli's fitness, despite the striker scoring a goal in a 3-2 friendly win over Serie C side Mantova.
The 25-year-old re-joined Milan on a season-long loan deal during the transfer window and featured in his first game back on Thursday.
However, while Balotelli scored the opener and set up the second, Mihajlovic does not believe the Italian is ready for a Serie A return just yet.
"Balotelli? We played a team from Serie C; we see that he is not in good condition and must improve," the Serbian coach said after the game.
Mihajlovic, though, was also disappointed with the overall performance of the team, which featured players who have yet to feature in the league this season.
"If we think we win because we're called Milan, we're not going anywhere," he added.
"It was a game we needed to put minutes into our legs; when one does not play, you should not complain because…tonight many have shown they do not deserve to play."
