Jaguares prop Ramiro Herrera and lock Tomas Lavanini will face SANZAR discplinary hearings next week to answer to charges of foul play.

Herrera and Lavanini are alleged to have contravened Law 10.4 (g) Dangerous charging when they charged into opponents – in separate incidents – on the ground and made contact with their opponents' heads during the match between the Kings and Jaguares at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, Port Elizabeth on 27 May 2016.

Both players received red cards for their respective offences.

Their cases are to be considered in the first instance by SANZAAR Duty Judicial Officer Michael Heron.

All SANZAAR disciplinary matters are in the first instance referred to a Duty Judicial Officer hearing to provide the option of expediting the judicial process.

For a matter to be dispensed with at this hearing, the person appearing must plead guilty and accept the penalty offered by the DJO.
