Williams win 100m hurdles in Beijing

Jamaica's Danielle Williams won the gold medal in the 100 metres hurdles at the Athletics World Championships on Friday in Beijing, with a personal best time.

Williams won in 12.57 seconds, her fastest ever time, in a close race where the first five places were separated by less than a tenth of a second.

German Cindy Roleder (12.59) and Alina Talay from Belarus (12.66) won the silver and bronze medals respectively, while defending champion Brianna Rollins came in fourth.
