Pulis admits Evans interest

Who is the Bundesliga’s “Mr. 100%” from the penalty spot?

West Brom manager Tony Pulis has confirmed his interest in Manchester United defender Jonny Evans and hopes he can bring the defender in before Tuesday's transfer deadline.

Evans made 17 appearances for the Red Devils last season and is seen as a backup to the first-team. The central defender is still only 27 and has recently expressed his desire to play more first-team football.

Pulis said: "Jonny would be a great signing for the football club but it's down to the money men and his side, it takes three parties, the player and the clubs.

"I'd love to sign Jonny Evans."
