Nehwal wants Kohli’s aggression

Indian badminton star Saina Nehwal, who won Sunday’s Australian Open singles title in Sydney, has received congratulations for her victory from the nation and some of the countries bigger names.

In the women’s final, seventh seed Nehwal defeated China’s unseeded Sun Yu 11-21, 21-14, 21-19 in a match that lasted 71 minutes.

One of the people that congratulated Nehwal on her victory was Indian cricket captain and star batsman Virat Kohli who tweeted “Congratulations @NSaina So happy for you. Onwards and Upwards always #ProudIndian”

The 26-year-old Nehwal tweeted back “I would love to get more aggression like u for winning more matches ☺️I m trying hard for that ?Thank u so much ??”

Next up for Nehwal is representing her country at the Rio Olympics in August.
