Steyn called up to Bok squad

‘Chelsea don’t need to make a statement’ – Kante

In the wake of Patrick Lambie's injury on Saturday, experienced fly-half Morné Steyn has been called into the Springbok squad.

According to Business Day, Steyn's agent Johan van Greune confirmed that the 60 cap veteran was told on Sunday that he would join the squad.

The former Bulls man will cover for Elton Jantjies who will more than likely start for South Africa this Saturday for their second game of the three-Test series with Ireland.

This comes after Lambie was concussed during their 26-20 loss to Ireland in Cape Town.

Garth April is like to stay in the SA 'A' squad for their game against the England Saxons this weekend in George.
