Watford v Southampton

Brazil ladies ‘in harmony and ready’ for World Cup challenge

Newcomers Watford host Southampton on Sunday hoping to get their first win of the Premier League season following a so-far solid return to the English top-flight.

Having drawn their first two games of the campaign, Quique Sanchez Flores' side have looked at home in the Premier League following their promotion from the Championship last season and will be hungry to pick up their first three-pointer when they welcome the stuttering Saints to Vicarage Road.

In team news, new Watford signing Alessandro Diamanti is expected to make his debut after penning a season-long loan deal from Chinese outfit Guangzhou Evergrande earlier this week.

Flores has a virtually fully-fit squad to choose from against the man who replaced him at Valencia in 2007, with the exception of Joel Ekstrand, who has a knee problem.

The Saints, meanwhile, were well beaten 3-0 by Everton in their most recent Premier League clash while the 1-1 draw with Danish outfit Midtjylland in their Europa League play-off first-leg on Thursday would not have filled Ronald Koeman's men with confidence, either.

Failure to win against the Hornets will likely bee seen as a poor start by most involved with the club following their impressive seventh-placed finish last season.

Koeman also has a number of injury concerns to deal with and will be without Ryan Bertrand, Fraser Forster, Florin Gardos (all knee) and Gaston Ramirez (knock) for their second away game of the new campaign.
