Full Report

The Old lady had kicked off their campaign with a 1-0 victory at Augsburg last weekend and they made a flying start in Berlin, Stocker opening the scoring on six minutes as he beat Felix Wiedwald with a strike from inside the area.

However, it took Pal Dardai's men just 20 minutes to find a response, with Ujah turning in Ulisses Garcia's cross from close range to level the scores.

Neither goalkeeper was tested for the remainder of the first half as the two teams went into the break still tied, but Thomas Kraft had his first save to make just moments after the restart, keeping out an effort from Bremen midfielder Zlatko Junuzovic on 47 minutes.

Felix Wiedwald was finally called into action for the visitors on 66 minutes as the Bremen keeper dived to his left to turn away a shot from Peter Pekarík from inside the box on the right.

Junuzovic should have done better with his effort on 72 minutes, firing straight at Kraft from the centre of the 18-yard area before Sebastian Langkamp was fortunate to see his defensive header come back off his own crossbar as he attempted to clear the danger.

The woodwork came to Hertha's rescue again on 82 minutes when Jannik Vestergaard saw his header from Junuzovic's corner strike the right post as the capital club saw out the final few minutes for a share of the spoils.
