Amir Khan believes Floyd Mayweather Jr is more concerned bout keeping his undefeated record that keeping his word.
The Brit was certain he was the favourite for Mayweather's September 12 bout after he was looked off by the American twice in 2014.
Instead, Mayweather chose back-to-back fights against Marcos Maidana, a fighter Khan had defeated in 2010.
The five-division world champion looked past Khan again this year and has instead opted for a bout with Andre Berto, who is incidentally his friend and a former training partner.
"I remember the time he picked Maidana over me even though I won the votes on the internet and he still didn't pick me," Khan is quoted as saying on boxingscene.com.
"At the moment, from everything I see and everything fight fans should realize is that Floyd is a liar. First when he said I'm going to let the fans pick who I fight, he didn’t what he said he was going to do because the fight fans voted and they all voted Amir Khan. And he still picked Maidana, someone who I've already beaten, put down and gave him a beating and beat him in a better style that Floyd Mayweather beat him.
"Floyd is running scared because of the size of me, the hand speed I have, the power and the speed. He just doesn't want any of me. He doesn't want anything to do with me. He just wants to try and avoid every little thing. I think he just wants to get that contract over and have the unbeaten record until he retires."
