Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc is hopeful Thiago Motta will still be at the club next month, but admits the midfielder's situation is a delicate one.
The Italy international has already spoken of his desire to seek out a new challenge away from Parc des Princes, claiming to have given as much as he can to the capital club during his three-and-a-half year stay in France.
Atletico Madrid and Internazionale have since been tipped as his preferred options, but Blanc remains optimistic of convincing MOtta to commit his future to Les Parisians.
"Thiago Motta's future? I haven't got a crystal ball but, as of today, he's our player. I hope he still is on Sept. 1," the Frenchman told ESPN FC.
"It is a delicate situation, but the club is working on it. Of course I am hoping that Thiago will continue to be a Parisienne this season."
