Roma defender Alessio Romagnoli looks set to complete his move to Milan imminently after both clubs confirmed that a deal has been reached.
The 20-year-old Italian centre-back has been a prime target for the Rossoneri this transfer window, having impressed while out on loan at Sampdoria last season, where he made 30 appearances.
"Everyone is satisfied with the terms," Milan CEO Adriano Galliani said, quoted in La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"We are very, very, very close. The player has to undergo his medical and Roma are floated on the stock exchange, so they will dictate the timing of announcements."
"The agreement will be formalised tomorrow, certainly with the satisfaction of all concerned," Roma director of football Walter Sabatini told Sky Sport Italia.
"I saluted Romagnoli and told him to put himself at the disposal of Milan."
