Atletico Madrid have officially confirmed the signing of attacking midfielder Diogo Jota on a five-year deal from Portuguese club Pacos de Ferreira.
The losing 2016 Champions League finalists first reached an agreement with the Primeira Liga side back n March to secure the services of the 19-year-old attacking midfielder, who has now officially joined his new club.
Jota enjoyed a fine first full season at Estadio da Mata Real after graduating from the Beavers' youth academy in 2015 and was voted Young Player of the Year after scoring 12 goals in 31 league appearances last term.
The Portugal Under-21 international becomes the third new arrival in the Spanish capital after Nicolas Gaitan and Sime Vrsaljko were signed by Los Rojiblancos as soon as the transfer window opened.

Atletico Sporting director Jose Luis Caminero added: "He's a young, very quick and forward-thinking player, with great ball control and an ability to open up defences.
"Diogo has a lot of potential and is noted for his one-on-ones and versatility as he can play in various positions."
