Granada confirm Boga loan deal

Would David de Gea like to be the next captain of Manchester United?

Granada have announced the signing of Jeremie Boga on a season-long loan from Premier League giants Chelsea.

Boga completed his move to the La Liga club after spending last term on loan at French side Rennes, where he netted four goals in 29 appearances – eight of which were starting appearances.

The Frenchman joined the Blues' academy from ASPTT Marseille in 2008 and went on to win the UEFA Youth League, FA Youth Cup and Under-21 Premier League before returning to his homeland on loan in 2015.

Boga has a contract at Stamford Bridge that runs until June 2019.

"I am very excited to start working with Granada and to play in the Spanish league," he told the Spanish club's official website.

"I hope to help the team as much as possible and to continue growing as a player and enjoy the new project of Granada."
