Sharks lose talented duo

‘Chelsea don’t need to make a statement’ – Kante

The Sharks confirmed that Paul Jordaan and Kyle Cooper are both leaving the franchise for European clubs.

Jordaan would be leaving for French club La Rochelle, while Cooper would be jetting off to Newcastle to play
the Newcastle Falcons.

Sharks director of rugby Gary Gold will miss the presence of such talented athletes but wished them well on their new adventure.

"It’s always sad losing players of their calibre, but they have decided that the time is right to experience a new playing culture in a different country," Gold said.

"They both have made significant contributions to the Sharks over the last few years and we would like to take this opportunity to wish them, as well as their families, the very best for this new journey."
