FC Twente have announced the signing of Manchester City and Ghana winger Yaw Yeboah on a season-long loan deal.
The loan agreement was confirmed on the club's official Twitter account on Thursday evening and Yeboah is set to complete his medical with the Eredivisie side in the coming days.
The Ghana youth international joined the English Premier League side in 2014 from the Right To Dream Academy in his native country and after impressive performances in last year's FIFA U20 World Cup – many tipped him for a role in the club's first team.
However, due to work permit issues he was sent out on loan to Ligue 1 side Lille, where he failed to command a regular starting berth. As such, the move to the Netherlands has been agreed to enable Yeboah to continue his development and gain his work permit.
Yeboah becomes Twente's third signing of the off-season after the arrivals of German defender Stefan Thesker and Belgian winger Dylan Seys.
