He’s going to cost a lot more this time around, but Chelsea are very keen to resign Romelu Lukaku, while Manchester City appear to be on the verge of landing Bundesliga talent Leroy Sane.
Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea
The Blues haven’t given up on trying to get Everton striker Romelu Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge, although the Toffees are demanding a hefty price.
Lukaku joined Chelsea for a fee reported to be around £10m back in 2011, but five years later the London outfit are now said to be preparing a bid of £68m to get him to return.
According to the UK press, an offer of £57m has already been rejected, and Everton have said that unless Chelsea meet Lukaku’s £75m valuation, he isn’t going anywhere.
That seems like a crazy amount for the player, and Antonio Conte and co are still hoping to acquire him for a little bit less than that, and yet only Sergio Aguero has scored more Premier League goals than Lukaku over the past four seasons – so maybe he’s worth the asking price?
Isnt it mad that Lukaku has 81 career goals at 23, including 62 in 120 games in the BPL and people don't rate him because of his first touch

Rumour rating: 5/10. Talks between the two parties have been ongoing for more than two weeks, so it’s clear the Blues are serious in their interest, but the price remains a sticking point. Chelsea might well cough up the cash, however, as they are said to be desperate to land Lukaku after Real Madrid made it clear they would not be selling Spanish international Alvaro Morata. As for the man himself, he is said to be keen to leave Everton.
Leroy Sane to Manchester City
Recent developments suggest Pep Guardiola’s side are on the verge of landing Schalke star Leroy Sane for a fee of £37m plus add-ons.
The Bundesliga outfit confirmed on Monday that the midfielder was in Manchester and had not joined their pre-season training camp in Austria.

Guardiola confirmed his interest in Sane back on July 21.
According to German media reports, the 20-year-old told Schalke sporting director Christian Heidel earlier this summer that he wanted to leave the club.
Aside from impressing for his club, scoring eight goals in 33 Bundesliga appearances, Sane also helped Germany reach the semi-finals at Euro 2016.
Rumour rating: 8/10. This deal looks very like to go through at this stage, although it hasn’t been confirmed yet. Sane certainly isn’t in Manchester to see the sights!
Marouane Fellaini and Adnan Januzaj to Sunderland
New Black Cats boss David Moyes has confirmed interest in Manchester United duo Marouane Fellaini and Adnan Januzaj.
Having spoken of a “building job” ahead at the Stadium of light, Moyes would love to start construction with the Red Devils pair in his squad.
“If anyone of those players want to join us, I would be happy to have them because they are excellent players,” he said.
“We are interested, but I am sure a host of other clubs are too.”
Sunderland are yet to strengthen this summer, but Moyes has confirmed they are working hard behind the scenes to change that.
Moyes clearly has a love for Fellaini, having twice signed him during his spells with Everton and Manchester United.
He also handed Januzaj his United debut against Sunderland in 2013.
Fellaini for £10m-£15m and Januzaj on loan for a season would be an excellent bit of business for all involved.

Rumour rating: 3/10. There is little to go on here other than Moyes admitting interest, although there have been indications that Januzaj in particular may be available for sale after he was absent from first-team training for United last week. Fellaini, however, came on as a substitute against Galatasaray over the weekend and scored in the 5-2 win. Still, Moyes has history with these players, and Jose Mourinho has been looking to trim his squad in certain areas.
Gabriel Jesus to Manchester City
More good news for City fans is that Barcelona have reportedly ended negotiations with Brazilian starlet Gabriel Jesus.
Not too much is known about the 19-year-old Palmeiras forward, but it’s clear that he is one of the hottest young talents to emerge out of Brazil in the past 12 months.
Gabriel bagged 19 goals in 30 games this season, catching the eye of several big European clubs.
Talked with a guy that works with Palmeiras youth development today, he’s confident Gabriel Jesus is the best thing in Brazil since Neymar.

Earlier reports suggested a £27m five-year deal had been agreed to bring Gabriel to Nou Camp, but Catalan newspaper Sport is reporting that he has snubbed the Spanish champions in favour of a move to City.
City are said to be offering the exact same amount and length of contract.
Rumour rating: 6/10. Gabriel reportedly wants to work under new City manager Pep Guardiola and has chosen to join the so-called ‘Etihad revolution’ under the former Bayern boss. Reports from Brazil also claim Gabriel has already told his Palmeiras team-mates that he expects to head to Manchester.
