Bayern Munich assistant manager Paul Clement has ended talk that he may join the England technical team after committing his future to the German champions.
Clement is employed as Carlo Ancelotti's assistant at Bayern, but had been linked with a move to become part of new Three Lions boss Sam Allardyce's technical team, possibly on a part-time basis.
But the 44-year-old Englishman has ended any speculation by declaring on Twitter: "After consultation between FC Bayern, the [English] Football Association and myself, it was decided that it is in the best interests of everyone involved for me to concentrate solely on the job I have in Munich.
"I would like to wish success to Sam, the FA and the England team.
Clement, who was sacked by Derby County earlier this year, previously worked alongside Ancelotti at Chelsea, Paris St-Germain and Real Madrid.
